A/Prof Judith Lacey

A/Prof Judith Lacey, MBBS, FRACGP, FAChPM (RACP). She holds the position of Head of Supportive Care and Integrative Oncology at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse Comprehensive Cancer Centre in NSW, Australia. Additionally, A/Prof Lacey serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the NICM Health Research Institute, Western Sydney University, and as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the School of Medicine, University of Sydney.

Recognised for her work in integrative oncology, A/Prof Lacey is the National Chair of the Integrative Oncology Group at the Clinical Oncology Association of Australia (COSA). She is also a board member and co-chair of the Clinical Practice Group at the Society for Integrative Oncology (SIO), and serves as an Australian ambassador to SIO. A/Prof Lacey's dedication to her field is further reflected in her membership with the Multinational Association of Supportive Care in Cancer (MASCC).

A/Prof Lacey's primary interest lies in the development and integration of supportive care interventions, including complementary therapies and integrative medicine. Her mission is to ensure people living with cancer maintain the highest quality of life possible, regardless of prognosis or stage of disease. Her holistic approach to patient care involves collaboration with other practitioners to maximize patient wellbeing.

Her research activities span across integrative oncology, medicinal cannabis, and supportive care service development. A/Prof Lacey holds key leadership positions in these fields, contributing to research, teaching, and service development at local, national, and international levels.
